The Niblick
Bird's-eye piqué polo
Bird's-eye piqué in long-staple cotton with just enough give. A cream-tipped collar, a ribbed hem, and a small gold gorse at the chest. First tee to the table after.
The Niblick takes its name from the old wedge, the club you reached for when the round asked for touch. The knit remembers it: a bird's-eye piqué whose tiny raised dots echo the dot-punched face of the original.
The body is long-staple cotton with a small amount of stretch worked in, so it moves through a swing and holds its shape after the wash. The collar is tipped in a single cream line and built to stand, not curl. The hem finishes in a ribbed band that wears clean untucked, and the buttonholes are stitched in the same cream as the collar, a detail you notice the third time, not the first.
