The name

Gorse flowers in every season.

It is the thorny yellow shrub that lines the great links, the blaze of colour you skirt off the tee from Ayrshire to the west of Ireland. It grows where nothing else bothers to: sand, salt, wind off the sea, blooming in nearly every month of the year.

Gorse is clothing that’s always in season: good in any weather, worn well past the year you bought it, on the course and off.
